Kitchen Sink Fittings

In most kitchen sinks, the strainer is attached to the body of the strainer, which is inserted down through the hole in the sink and then sealed to the sink with a bead of plumber's putty. The body of the strainer is attached to the drain's tailpiece and the remainder of the drain's piping underneath the sink.
